Hi All,
We are now back in London after wrapping up our first headline tour!
It was such a great pleasure for us to visit you guys all over the UK and Ireland. We can safely say that we were having as much fun on stage as you were in the audience. Seeing a venue full of smiling faces is such a joy - we loved every minute of being on tour.
Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll have probably seen that we have announced our NEXT tour! Bigger venues! More cities! We must say, though, that tickets really are selling quickly, so avoid disappointment and book soon if you can. It would be a shame to miss it - it'll be a great show! Tickets are now available on general release HERE. Roll on October!
A bit of TV now. Tune in to ITV's This Morning on Thursday April 28 - they're having a great big knees-up to celebrate the royal wedding and we are going to be joining in and belting out some tunes. Also, check us out singing 'Only Girl In The World' on OK! TV HERE - and a really cool and fun interview we did for Xposé whilst over in Dublin. Search for them on Youtube and enjoy. Also on Youtube is a little vid we made for you guys when we had that mad night on the helicopter a couple of weeks ago! I'm still missing the chopper... Back to the tube... Boo hoo.
I'm sure that many of you will have seen our Royal Wedding Street Party advertised on Facebook. We will be coming to the winner's street party to celebrate the nuptials of Wills and Kate with you! There has been a huge response to this and we're really happy that you would all like us to come to your parties. The application did shut down for a while, because some people wanted us to come to their party so badly, they found their way into the mechanism of our Facebook page and found a way of adding extra votes to their parties. The good folk at Warner Bros HQ were closely monitoring this and have now fixed the problem. Those who hacked our account have been barred and the competition is now back on track! Sorry if there was any confusion or worry. We're looking forward to celebrate this special day with you. Good luck everyone! Click HERE to add your party or vote for others.
We've been really enjoying our Ustream sessions via our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/theovertones. The last time we did this, we announced the winner of our Twibbon competition, Twitter name @hamster79. We will all be going out for a meal together somewhere in London's glittering West End. Darren wants to go to Nobu. Timmy wants to go to Nandos. We'll probably find a happy medium and we'll be sure to take pics for Twitter and Facebook whilst there! The next Ustream chat will be May 10.
